Minimum luminance contrast shall be provided regardless of the color and color combination between the symbol or character and its background (see 4.3.2).
Not all symbol / background color combinations are acceptable for physiological and psychological reasons. Therefore, when selecting colors in full-color display, some symbol / background color combinations should be selected. For information on color combinations, see Appendix B
